In Tally Youngblood's world there are the Uglies and the Pretties. At age 16 you get a surgery that turns you 'pretty', you move to New Prettytown and have a life of parties and fun. Tally's best friend turned 16 before her, leaving her in Uglyville on her own. All Tally's life she's wanted to become a Pretty but when she meets Shay her idea of life is changed. This book is filled with question and adventure. Tally's point of view changes and she learns new things about society and her life. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a little mystery and adventure. Check it out!
