High School can be pretty tough, as many of you may know, especially if you don't have many friends. When Melinda was at a party one summer she ended up calling the cops when it got out of hand, this caused her friends to unfriend her and everyone else at school to hate her. Something bad happened to her at that party that continues to haunt her throughout the book. Spiraling into depression Melinda continues to try to keep the truth buried but it slowly seeps it way out. I recommend this to someone who likes sad, struggling books. It really is hauntingly beautiful and truly makes you think.You should read it!
